Welcome to the 2009 Easykart Grand Final Information page. This years event is being held on September 12, 2009 at Monticello Karting in Monticello, Florida. That's right it's aone day event! We will have a Thursday and Friday practice, but all racing will be done on Saturday. This is being done to help ease costs to racers.

You will notice that this years entry fee is only $100.00 this to is being done to again help racers during these tough economic times. Tires, fuel, oil, pit spots and pit passes are additional to the entry fee. Tires will be the Easykart branded ETS Vega, available from Easykart Florida and must be purchased at the track on race weekend. Oil is spec and will be Easykart Exceed Castor Synthetic. Oil is available from Easykart Florida.

As in years past each non-exhibition Easykart Grand Final class winner will receive round trip airfare, (taxes excluded) race entry fee, and kart rental (including practice fees, tires, fuel oil and pit pass) to the 2009 Easykart World Championships in Sienna, Italy on October 16,17,18, 2009 for the driver only.

Rules

The ruleset for the Grand Finals are based on the January 2009 ruleset which was used in the Florida Kart Championship Series. With the exception of the addition of the BMB motors, tires and oil, no items were changed that would affect performance. Please read the file below and note that we have highlighted changes or additional rules. Note, that the order of the rules has changed......so read it all! New for 2009 you MUST bring proof of drivers age to onsite registraion.....NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!
